We specialize in African hunting and adventure safaris and offer access to the Matetsi Unit 1 hunting concession and Mabal’engwe Game Lodge, which we manage and operate.

Matetsi Unit 1 provides top quality hunts for dangerous game and plainsgame in an unfenced free-range environment. The safari area spans 99,000 acres situated in north-western Zimbabwe close to the famous Victoria Falls. It is one of the best-known and most established safari hunting areas in Zimbabwe with Hwange National Park to the south and the Zambezi River to the north.

At Matetsi, large herds of elephants and buffalo are seen often and leopards are fairly plentiful. Lion hunting re-opened in 2009.

Seasons
Zimbabwe is a year-round destination. We conduct hunts between March and November. Non-hunting safaris can be arranged between December and February.

The winter months in Zimbabwe (May to September) are best for game viewing, the bush is thinner and animals tend to gather near the water holes more frequently.

For high adventure enthusiasts, the best time to go whitewater rafting is when the waters of the Zambezi River are low (generally from August to December).
